Last year's journey through AP Literature and Comp. challenged me to become something I struggled with throughout my academic life: an organized writer. Through the enrollment of the course, I learned to develop and employ critical thinking skills into my writing, which enabled me to extensively summarize any particular passage and piece of literary work within a modest time period. By the end of the school year, I learned to correctly comprehend literary pieces through the use of literary elements and efficiently outline the main elements of the story. Ultimately, AP Literature demonstrated how analytical thinking is important in truly understanding any piece of literature that I may come across in the future.
